It is an Original Hand-crafted Russian Folk Doll
created by one of the most famous St. Petersburg artists of dolls Irina Krasova
She works with a team of costume designers, sculptors, ceramic masters - from Moscow, engravers and masters of decorative painting from Sergiiev Posad, Nizhny Novgorod, Vladimir, masters of bast-shoes weaving and masters of felt boots trade.
This costume is a real traditional costume of Russia at that time, in miniature. The fabrics for the costumes are produced by factories which have been in business for 150-200 years (these are Tryohgorsk, Pavlovo-Posad and Ivanovo factories) in the traditions of that time. Other accessories - miniature balalaikas, sleighs, boxes, samovars, peasants' dishes are made of natural materials and traditionally painted in the styles of Khokhloma, Gorodets and others.
